GPS/GSM/GPRS tracking system
The system is composed of GPS device, application software and hardware deployed in the control center.
GPS device installed in the vehicle receives GPS signal and calculates the position, velocity and time of the vehicle.
The communication system including GSM, GPRS and internet transfer the above data and other commands to control center.
Finally the position and status of the target will be shown in time on a digital map in the control center computer.
The control center can also send out commands and information to GPS device through this communication system.

Functions of GTD
1) Locate and track
On receipt of GPS signal, the GTD calculates the objects position, time, velocity, etc which can be transferred to the SC in a certain interval. And the sending interval is settable.
2) Urgent button
The driver can send help alarm with an urgent button installed snugly when meets hijack or failure. And with a displayer, the status would be changed from normal to a special symbol like *, means the alarm has been sent out successfully.
3) Remote control
SC operator can turn on/off the GTD by sending a command. GTD can output a signal to cut off the oil or engine of a car under the special command from SC. Also, under the special command from car owner, GTD can output a signal to open or close car door. (damage, optional)
4) Parameters settable
Parameters of GTD are settable with certain privilege. Parameters like IP address, SC number, SMS center number and so on can be set before delivery or be programmed through SMS or special software.
5) Lead the driver
When meets strange environment, the driver can ask for the SC operator whom can lead the drive with a digital map to the destination.
6) Store data
It¡¯s capable of storing data logs if a GSM signal is unavailable and would send the stored data when GSM signal is available.
7) Taxi price-meter interface
The GTD has an interface to the taxi price-meter so as the operator can get the status of the taxi including mileage, whether is loaded and so on in time. Such information can be sent in special time or distance interval or according to the operator inquiry.
8) Image transmission interface
There is the image transmission interface left.
9) External backup battery interface
